Open letter to Camila Grey of UH HUH HERPlease be assured I mean absolutely no disrespect whatsoever and I am actually a huge fan of UHH.
So back in 2008, UH HUH HER toured Common Reaction twice and were always well dressed and in fact, Leisha Hailey said in interviews that she was trying to get Camila Grey to dress up a bit more since they were giving a show.
“I grew up in Austin, and with the Chronicle,” says Grey, who left Austin in 1998 after graduating high school – “not to date myself.
It’s been a minute since I lived [in town], but I still consider it home and still have family there.” She’s also looking forward to participating in this historic Pride that will be forever known as the first, post-marriage equality. There was no Gay Straight Alliance at my school.” Grey’s timely return was orchestrated by the lez-event production company, Girls With Flair! Yes, the same ones that brought Ruby Rose to Austin, not once but twice.
Inspired by a PJ Harvey B-side from the identically titled 2004 PJ Harvey album, their band name was born. This indie electro-pop duo’s second CD, Common Reaction releases this week, 19 August. We just watched Away from Her in the van and we both had tears rolling down our little faces.
They released their sophomore record titled "Nocturnes" in late summer/early fall of 2011.
They then released EP3, a collection of their old songs re-imagined acoustically.
Pop Matters 20 Questions caught up with them while on the road and, typical of their collaborative nature, they combine their responses, here.
He’s fluffy and unassuming, and shows up right when Atreyu needs him.
